WHAT?

A free and worthwhile contest that invites and challenges humans from all walks of life to come together (virtually, at the moment) to arrive at imaginative and viable solutions to the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDG/s)

The "rolling" Challenge' means you can start and end any time within 100 days April 22 to July 31.

The Challenge encourages a problem solving advantage of teamwork, diversity, passion for good, and concentrated effort!

Certificates will be awarded to ALL participants who submit a team solution. Special designation is given to Semi Finalists and Finalists and perks to 17 Winners including entry to The SDG Percolator!

WHERE?

Physically & VIRTUALLY, any where! Where/when appropriate in the world and markets open up, teams can decide to meet at physical locations or decide to collaborate from a distance.

The Challenge culminates in video presentations by all teams who will then be evaluated by our team and 150 Semi Finalists will be move to public voting round. Of these, the top 50 Finalists will emerge. They global Jury subject matter experts (by SDG focus areas) will then take over and 17 Winners will emerge.

Detailed information will be provided to Registered teams, available by April 1.

Official registration is now open! The Challenge officially runs 100 days April 22 to July 31 annually (and unofficially, every day, forever!)

Each Challenge team works on their solutions for as short or long as it takes them within the 100 days.

Following the July 31 deadline, a select number of teams will be shortlisted and advance to the public voting round online which will be open for one week.

Semi-Finalist Teams will emerge. Solutions will be nurtured and from Aug. 15th Global juries will then select 17 Winners who will be announced Sept. 1.

Winners will also be introduced to VIPs and invited to special global SDGs events!

The world debut of the Global SDGs Challenge was long overdue. We are in the seventh year of the SDGs (2016-2030) and the clock is ticking and Covid19 set the world back. We're behind and world needs even greater progress if goals are to be met. Now entering

Enter Year four of our 12-year initiative! Collaboration and ACTION are imperative!

The Challenge is a great way to become an engaged global citizen and learn hands-on about SDGs Let's align to solve the world's most nagging issues. #Resolve2Solve

Certificates will be awarded to each team member who submits a solution. Semi-Finalists, Finalists, and Winners presented special designation, perks, and prizes (TBD).

WHEN?

WHY?

Bring forth your own team-- convince your family or friends! Or, you can opt to be added to another team of a similar SDG interest area. Easy!

Teams will decide which SDG and SDG subtopic to focus on solving, when, where to meet, how to approach brainstorming sessions, division of work, and the format by which to convey the big ideas for the solution to be videoed (i.e. powerpoint, speech, skit, or ?!) and how to divvy up roles in presentation/briefing to public.

Workshops, Mentors, Minders, and Muses will be available to jump-start or provide enhanced support.

Winning teams are eligible for The SDG Percolator and solutions polishing; those with viable models may be matched with global incubators and funding sources.
